Operations Executive

About the role

The Operations Executive will support the execution of PCTC and Ro‑Ro vessel voyages by coordinating shipments, preparing operational documentation, and monitoring cargo movements. Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of PCTC and Ro‑Ro voyages and daily vessel operations.
• Monitor vessel schedules, cargo readiness, and operational timelines.
• Prepare, verify and maintain documents such as manifests, cargo lists, Bills of Lading, Statements of Facts and operational reports.
• Coordinate with ports, terminals, shipping agents, service providers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Identify operational issues, escalate them promptly and support resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, maritime regulations and safety requirements.
• Obtain competitive quotations from port agents and service providers and assist in cost monitoring.
• Maintain and update port tariff databases, including charges, agency fees and stevedoring costs.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in shipping, maritime operations, port agency or logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of PCTC/Ro‑Ro operations and shipping documentation is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, planning and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
