Operations Executive

About the role

The Operations Executive will support the Chief of Operations in ensuring smooth scheduling and day‑to‑day activities across trading platforms and logistics operators. This role bridges traders, cargo movement teams and external partners to keep the supply chain efficient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with traders to manage cargo movements, create schedules and nominations based on supply‑and‑demand plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with counterparties, inspectors, agents, ship brokers, storage terminals and internal departments.
• Issue, review and trade confirmations, contracts and letters of credit.
• Ensure operations meet statutory regulations, quality certificates and test‑sample requirements.
• Invoice customers and oversee payments to suppliers and service providers.
• Assist with KYC and counterparty registration processes.
• Consolidate tender invitations, send reminders to trading desks and record all bids and offers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of trade operations experience in the energy or commodities sector.
• Hands‑on experience with crude oil or product operations.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English for international correspondence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, self‑motivated and a strong team player.
• Ready to start immediately or on short notice.
