Operations Intern – Logistics & Shipping

About the role

Join Hillebrand Gori, the beverage logistics arm of DHL, as an Operations Intern in Dubai. You will support the end‑to‑end shipping process, handling documentation, system entry and coordination with sales, customs and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and enter customer orders into the FLOW ERP/tracking system.
• Update transshipment and arrival data promptly.
• Arrange timely shipments according to requested RDS, RDD and equipment type.
• Prepare and verify full sets of shipping documents (BL, invoices, packing list, COO, etc.).
• Coordinate import and export customs clearance and deliveries.
• Work with sales and export offices to issue quotations and ensure invoice accuracy.
• Maintain paper and electronic filing of orders, quotations, invoices and correspondence.
• Research and plan optimal export routes considering cost, transit time and security.
• Provide excellent customer service and stay updated on legislation, carrier changes and geopolitical factors affecting freight.

Required profile

• Knowledge of shipping paperwork for sea and air import/export.
• Understanding of international freight forwarding, FCL/LCL and Incoterms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication skills for interaction with customers, agents and internal teams.

Required skills

• MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with ERP or tracking & tracing systems (e.g., FLOW).
