Operations Manager

About the role

Our client is currently hiring for the position of Operations Manager. The role focuses on coordinating day‑to‑day operational activities and supporting production requirements across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day operational activities.
• Conduct structured daily operational meetings with concerned department heads.
• Work closely with the Plant Head and Production Planning team to ensure production requirements are supported.
• Identify material or operational shortages before they affect production.
• Monitor purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier commitments, and pending deliveries.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, identification, issuance, transfer, and reconciliation of materials.
• Implement daily cycle counting and periodic physical inventory verification.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Finance, Production, Stores, and Logistics teams for dispatch readiness.
• Monitor maintenance costs and equipment history.
• Promote a strong safety culture across operations.
• Ensure transactions are completed in real time and discourage backdated documentation.
