Operations Manager – Portable Cabins

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead the planning, deployment, and lifecycle management of portable cabins across multiple project sites. The role ensures cabins are installed, maintained, and returned safely while coordinating a blue‑collar workforce and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the deployment of portable cabins to project sites based on operational needs.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, dismantling and ensure cabins remain functional, safe, and compliant.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate logistics, yard, and site teams to guarantee timely mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Monitor project timelines, resource utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Allocate and supervise technicians, helpers and drivers, tracking asset movement and condition.
• Oversee cabin return to the yard, conduct inspections, repairs and prepare for future use.
• Maintain yard discipline, safe storage and asset preservation during off‑season periods.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Address client or site issues promptly and drive operational improvements for cost optimisation.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in site operations, rental, construction or facilities management.
• Hands‑on experience with portable cabins, modular units, generator operations or power rental preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a blue‑collar workforce.
• Experience in the UAE market is a plus.
• Background in writing business plans or company strategies.
