Operations Planning Engineer (Site)

About the role

The Operations Planning Engineer will develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance and shutdown plans for major schemes, ensuring smooth execution across the site. This role supports the preparation, monitoring, and control of maintenance activities, working closely with multiple internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Integrity, Production, Projects, and Maintenance Support teams to prepare shutdown plans and long‑term work programs.
• Produce and update the Seven‑Year Integrated Activity Plan, including engineering and maintenance schemes, barge plans, and major inspections.
• Develop and maintain maintenance barge plans and the major maintenance budget.
• Create worklists for major maintenance and schedule execution of maintenance campaigns.
• Update bedding plans in coordination with job officers and monitor deviations from work programs.
• Report potential impacts on other programs and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with planning, cost coordination, and commercial units to ensure proper resource and material allocation.
• Supervise and coordinate activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Provide input for section/department budgets and investigate significant variances.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years (60 months) of relevant engineering or operations planning experience.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders such as production, projects, and maintenance teams.
• Experience in budgeting, monitoring work programs, and reporting deviations.
