Operations Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for live training events and virtual delivery platforms across the META region. You will ensure seamless operation of event technology, AV systems, and network infrastructure for both in‑person and online sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate technology solutions for regional events.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and Wi‑Fi equipment.
• Install and support AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, displays, and conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms, Zoom, Webex).
• Provide onsite technical assistance during live training sessions.
• Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and endpoint devices.
• Manage user administration, device configuration, onboarding/offboarding, and asset tracking.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and general network issues.
• Handle incidents, service requests, vendor coordination, and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Experience supporting IT operations, technical environments, or event technology.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, and AV systems.
• Good communication ability to assist both technical and non‑technical users.
• Fluency in Arabic is required.
