Operator (Process – Oil & Gas)

About the role

The Operator will run and monitor the oil and gas process plant in the assigned area, ensuring safe and efficient operation according to standard operating procedures and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out operational tasks safely, following SOPs and company standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks, report abnormalities, and coordinate maintenance.
• Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates during start‑up and shutdown.
• Prepare plant equipment for maintenance and ensure synchronization with other units.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock registers, and prepare chemical batches while adhering to HSE rules.
• Operate related machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Obtain work permits, supervise contractor activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies.
• Prepare KPI checklists and contribute to performance reporting.

Required profile

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work safely in a plant environment.
• Willingness to provide on‑the‑job training for UAE nationalization programs.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in operating procedures.
• Participation in emergency response and housekeeping duties.
