Orthopedic Consultant – Spine Surgery

About the role

The Dubai Health Authority is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Consultant specialized in spine surgery to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality clinical care, performing surgical and interventional procedures, and contributing to academic activities.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, diagnose and treat patients referred for orthopedic and spine conditions, using medical and surgical approaches.
• Perform interventional procedures and spine surgeries within granted clinical privileges.
• Lead departmental teaching programs, seminars and promote clinical research.
• Participate in peer‑review, quality‑related activities and departmental meetings as required.
• Stay current with emerging techniques and procedures in orthopedic spine surgery.
• Promote health education and support junior staff development.
• Undertake additional duties aligned with expertise and departmental needs.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Recognized Membership, Fellowship or Board certification (or equivalent) in orthopedics/spine surgery.
