OT Cybersecurity Testing And Assessment Consultant

About the role

VINCI Energies, through its Axians Emirates unit, is looking for an OT Cybersecurity Testing & Assessment Consultant to join a major OT cybersecurity project for an oil & gas client. The role involves performing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and verification of cybersecurity controls across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OT vulnerability assessments using appropriate tools while respecting operational constraints.
• Execute penetration testing activities within approved scopes and client procedures.
• Review and verify implementation and effectiveness of cybersecurity controls such as network security, access controls, hardening, firewall rules, segmentation, and logging/monitoring.
• Support testing activities during FAT/IFAT and SAT/ISAT, including preparation, execution, evidence collection, and documentation.
• Analyse identified vulnerabilities and gaps, and assist in defining remediation or mitigation measures.
• Perform remediation verification to ensure findings are addressed and requirements met.
• Maintain clear records of findings, actions, evidence, and verification status throughout the project.
• Prepare and contribute to test reporting and findings management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in OT cybersecurity testing and assessment, preferably in oil & gas or defense sectors.
• Strong understanding of operational technology environments and associated security challenges.
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
