Outbound Telesales Agent

About the role

The Outbound Telesales Agent will drive revenue by contacting prospective and existing customers through high‑volume outbound calls. You will convert leads into sales, meet performance targets, and nurture long‑term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Make a large number of outbound calls daily to promote and sell products or services.
• Achieve and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Convert inquiries into qualified sales opportunities and close deals efficiently.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects by following up on leads and building relationships.
• Handle objections, negotiate terms and finalize sales agreements.
• Record all customer interactions, sales activities and follow‑ups in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the purchase team to align lead conversion strategies.
• Provide post‑sale support and address customer inquiries or complaints.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in telesales, call‑center or customer service.
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals in a high‑pressure environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion and time‑management abilities.
• Resilient, motivated and able to work under pressure to meet targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for tracking sales activities.
