Painter (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Painter to join the facilities team at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Dubai. The role combines painting, minor carpentry and general maintenance to ensure guest areas and back‑of‑house spaces are kept in pristine condition.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and perform minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect and troubleshoot air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to guest repair requests, replace light bulbs, A/C filters and other fixtures.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety policies before any work.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic knowledge of building services such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Willingness to follow company safety, security and confidentiality standards.
• Professional appearance and commitment to high‑quality service.
