Palace Host (Seasonal, 6‑Month Contract)

About the role

The Palace Host is a guest‑focused position at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, part of the Anantara brand. Working on a six‑month seasonal basis, you will ensure that every guest receives personalised assistance, privacy protection and a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with in‑house guests, recognise preferences and maintain guest history files.
• Execute arrival and departure procedures according to the Palace Host Services SOP manual.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Activities and Spa teams to exceed guest expectations.
• Upsell rooms and other hotel services while handling guest feedback efficiently.
• Maintain and operate all equipment, including hotel buggies, after passing the buggy driving test.
• Keep the Duty Manager informed of any significant issues and ensure pantry readiness.
• Apply discipline fairly and follow all safety and SOP guidelines.

Required profile

• Full knowledge of hotel departments, services and outlets.
• Ability to maintain guest privacy and security.
• Proactive communication with related departments.
• Willingness to take corrective actions to improve safety.

Required skills

• Buggy driving (hotel buggy)
