Palace Host (Seasonal, 6‑Month Contract)

About the role

The Palace Host is a guest‑focused position at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, part of the Anantara Hotels & Resorts portfolio. This seasonal, six‑month role is designed to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for in‑house guests throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage arrival and departure procedures, and maintain guest privacy and security.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Activities, and Spa teams to exceed guest expectations.
• Operate and maintain hotel buggies, passing the required driving test.
• Update guest history files, handle feedback, and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Maintain the Palace Host pantry and ensure all equipment is operational.
• Promote and upsell rooms and additional hotel services.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work proactively, anticipate guest needs, and act with discretion.
• Excellent communication and coordination with multiple departments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Buggy driving competency (pass the buggy driving test).
