Parachute Rigger – Skydive Dubai

About the role

Skydive Dubai is seeking an experienced Parachute Rigger to ensure the safety and reliability of all parachuting equipment. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and packing parachutes used by skydivers at the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of canopies, harnesses, containers and reserve parachutes to detect wear or defects.
• Perform minor and major repairs on parachute equipment within the limits of the holder’s licence.
• Re‑pack reserve parachutes in accordance with GCAA regulations.
• Store parachutes and raw materials safely to preserve their longevity.
• Maintain accurate technical logs of inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Stay updated with manufacturers’ service bulletins and apply best‑practice maintenance procedures.
• Keep the rigging loft clean and organized.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Rigger Licence and Packer Licence issued by the relevant authority.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with parachute equipment.
