Paralegal Operations – Legal Support Role

About the role

The Paralegal Operations role provides essential legal support to the Company, acting as the primary liaison for directors, senior managers and their teams seeking assistance from the Legal Department.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day legal needs across the Group and serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in drafting, negotiating and amending a variety of operational agreements, including vendor, sales, IT, procurement and partnership contracts.
• Review client‑generated documents for compliance with standard contractual requirements and provide appropriate contractual language.
• Maintain a contract database with summaries, renewal notices and termination memoranda for management, franchise and lease agreements.
• Support attorneys on acquisitions and financings by organizing documentation and tracking file transfers.
• Conduct legal research, draft correspondence, memoranda and respond to audit inquiries.

Required profile

• Two‑year college degree with at least three years relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment, or ten years as a paralegal with strong performance.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with strong judgment and critical‑thinking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with database functionality and operation.
