Part-Time Human Resources Officer (UAE National)

About the role

As a Human Resources Officer you will support and advise management on policies and procedures to deliver an excellent staff experience, while also managing succession planning and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and advise managers on proper policies and procedures
• Manage succession planning with senior managers during the bi‑annual appraisal process
• Handle employee relations issues confidentially, including disciplinaries, grievances and capability
• Ensure absence monitoring aligns with company guidelines
• Maintain online personnel and payroll systems and produce monthly reports
• Oversee recruitment and selection processes and conduct required immigration checks
• Assist in determining departmental training requirements
• Ensure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health‑and‑safety legislation
• Organise team‑member social events
• Collaborate with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industry
• Promote and endorse staff benefits
• Resolve team‑member and management queries

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Human Resources Officer or in an equivalent role
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Commitment to delivering high‑level internal and external customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Flexibility to respond to a range of work situations and ability to work under pressure
• Capability to work independently or as part of a team

• CIPD qualification (or working towards)
