Pharmacist – Emirati National (Dubai)

About the role

The Pharmacy team at KCH Healthcare is seeking an Emirati National pharmacist to join our Dubai facility. You will be responsible for safe medication dispensing, patient counseling, and supporting pharmacy operations in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and execute physician prescriptions, ensuring legality, appropriateness and therapeutic compatibility.
• Prepare and dispense medicines with correct dosages, provide drug information and educate patients on usage, storage, side effects and interactions.
• Maintain pharmacy organization, manage inventory, conduct cycle counts and prevent product expiry.
• Keep accurate patient medication records, comply with legal and regulatory standards, and handle medication‑related documentation.
• Collect payments from patients, ensure proper allocation and timely deposit to finance.
• Participate in professional development through conferences, seminars and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the Dubai Health Authority.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
• Resuscitation Certificate and ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Required skills

• Resuscitation Certificate as per specialty requirements.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
