Pharmacist – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join Dr. Sunny Medical Centre in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves compounding and dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring pharmacy operations comply with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor customers' drug therapies, advise interventions, and inform them of potential side effects.
• Instruct customers on proper usage, dosage, and timing of prescribed medications.
• Offer advice on dosages, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure a safe, clean working environment.
• Verify order entries, manage controlled substance records, and remove expired or damaged drugs.
• Adhere to legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist.
• Valid MOH license as a pharmacist.
• Strong knowledge of dosage requirements, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
