Pharmacist – Pharmacy Management (Sharjah)

About the role

The Sharjah Medical Centre Pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy operations. The role involves managing daily activities, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) standards, and delivering excellent patient service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients, ensuring every visitor receives attentive service.
• Accurately dispense medicines according to physician prescriptions, maintaining proper dosage, quantity, and packaging.
• Assign, delegate, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff, fostering teamwork and professional development.
• Maintain inventory, ensure correct storage, and prevent any medicines from being left on the pharmacy floor.
• Handle phone inquiries, providing accurate information to customers.
• Implement and improve quality SOPs in line with MOH guidelines and collaborate with the Quality Manager.
• Ensure the pharmacy remains MOH compliant, keeping all documentation up‑to‑date.
• Participate in monthly review meetings and support cross‑departmental tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacist licence issued by the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider certification.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to manage professional re‑licensure and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work across departments and communicate effectively in Arabic (desirable).
• Experience working within an inter‑professional team and using electronic medical record systems (desirable).
