Pharmacist – Sharjah

About the role

The Sharjah Medical Centre Pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to lead its pharmacy operations. You will ensure the highest level of patient service, maintain regulatory compliance, and manage a dedicated pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall pharmacy management in line with MOH and organizational standards.
• Greet patients, dispense medications accurately, and ensure proper packaging.
• Assign, delegate, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff, fostering teamwork.
• Maintain inventory, ensure correct medication placement, and prevent any medicine from being left on the floor.
• Handle phone inquiries and provide clear information to customers.
• Implement and improve quality SOPs according to MOH guidelines and work with the Quality Manager.
• Ensure MOH compliance, keep documentation up‑to‑date, and participate in monthly review meetings.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacist license from the relevant health authority.
• Ability to manage personal professional re‑licensure.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willingness to work across departments when needed.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic communication is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record platforms for clinical documentation.
