Physics Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Physics Teacher to join its faculty immediately for the 2026/2027 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum to secondary students in Abu Dhabi, fostering a high‑achievement learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Physics lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
• Develop departmental policies, schemes of work and long‑term development plans.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and implement targeted support.
• Ensure curriculum continuity, including provisions for SEN, G&T and EAL learners.
• Lead and evaluate teaching quality within the department.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS programme and organise after‑school revision sessions for I/GCSE and IB DP.
• Manage departmental resources and staff performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching Physics using the English National Curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills.
• Understanding of regional values and school ethos.
