Pipeline Technician

About the role

The Pipeline Technician will ensure the reliability and availability of ADNOC's pipeline assets by performing preventive, corrective and troubleshooting mechanical maintenance. This role supports safe and efficient pipeline operations across the Abu Dhabi network.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective and troubleshooting mechanical maintenance on pipeline equipment.
• Execute pigging operations in accordance with company procedures.
• Record and report cathodic protection test readings and any abnormalities.
• Patrol pipelines, identify unauthorized or hazardous activities, and report findings.
• Supervise contractors and third‑party personnel working near pipeline right‑of‑way to prevent damage.
• Inspect civil works during construction projects for safety and compliance.
• Monitor field process parameters and ensure required tools, spares and equipment are available.
• Prepare scopes of work, safety permits, and special tool requirements.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
