Planning Analyst – Digital Budget & Cost Control

About the role

The Planning Analyst will support the Digital Division of a globally recognised organisation, ensuring effective budgeting, cost control and financial reporting for CAPEX and OPEX initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and provide feedback on CAPEX & OPEX budget preparation and expenditure plans in collaboration with digital teams.
• Monitor monthly CAPEX & OPEX spend, analyse variances and support cost‑control actions.
• Produce monthly budget status reports highlighting performance and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare accruals, monthly payments and support financial year‑end closing for the Digital Division.
• Coordinate with Finance to finalize and maintain the Digital budget.
• Create and track cost‑saving initiatives in the Plainware system.
• Draft, raise and manage contracts, purchase orders and release bank guarantees for the Digital Division.
• Manage consultant resources and resolve supplier/vendor queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in budgeting, cost control or financial planning.
• Ability to start within 30 days (immediate notice period).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with finance processes in a digital/IT environment.
