Planning Manager

About the role

Mace is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the planning function for a large mixed‑use regeneration development in Abu Dhabi. You will shape detailed project plans, integrate sustainability goals and ensure health and safety are embedded throughout delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed, constraint‑aligned project plans and schedules.
• Interface with the project team, support reporting obligations and capture progress metrics.
• Review productivity, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and integrate sustainable design and procurement.
• Embed health and safety considerations within programme delivery.
• Establish and oversee work plans, deadlines and net‑zero carbon transition initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure or building projects, preferably within consultancy or PMC.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, work collaboratively and champion sustainability.
