Plant Process Operator (DGD)

About the role

The Plant Process Operator (DGD) is responsible for safely operating and monitoring the process plant and associated facilities. The role ensures that production runs smoothly, adheres to standard operating procedures, and complies with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment, adjusting speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates as required.
• Perform routine equipment checks, report abnormalities and coordinate maintenance.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock registers and prepare chemical batches following SOPs and HSE rules.
• Obtain work permits, supervise contractor activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies.
• Prepare KPI checklists and contribute to performance reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial plant operations or similar process environments.
• Familiarity with HSE standards, SOPs and work‑permit procedures.
• Ability to work on‑site in a shift environment and respond to emergencies.
