PMC Constructability Specialist – 3 Month Contract

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Constructability Specialist to support a high‑profile client on a three‑month assignment in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering constructability expertise for complex oil and gas projects, ensuring designs are practical and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess project designs for constructability issues.
• Provide recommendations to optimise construction methods, sequencing and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to integrate constructability solutions.
• Prepare constructability reports and support client decision‑making.
• Monitor implementation of constructability recommendations during the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in constructability execution on large‑scale energy projects.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas upstream, midstream or related infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
