PMC Construction Engineer - Piping

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Construction Engineer – Piping to join its Oil, Gas & New Energies business in Abu Dhabi. The role will be based on an on‑shore site for an ADNOC client, overseeing all piping construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise piping construction works on behalf of the Project Management Consultant.
• Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, schedules, and relevant codes and regulations.
• Monitor safety performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.

Required profile

• Significant experience in piping construction within the oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to work on large‑scale on‑shore projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
