PMC Lead Rotating Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking a seasoned PMC Lead Rotating Engineer to oversee the design, development and implementation of rotating and static equipment for high‑profile oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role sits at the forefront of delivering safe, compliant and innovative solutions for our energy clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team responsible for rotating and static equipment design.
• Ensure all designs meet project specifications, industry standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate equipment solutions into overall project delivery.
• Review and approve technical documentation, calculations and vendor data.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing rotating equipment projects within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong understanding of design standards, codes and compliance procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
