About the role
We are seeking a PMO Capital Projects Manager to lead the pre‑construction phase of a multi‑year megaproject for a Control Centre at a utilities client in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on scoping, design and procurement, ensuring seamless integration of IT/OT systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
- Manage risk registers, document control and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate with the appointed Technical Advisory firm to oversee technical and integration aspects.
- Monitor progress against milestones and report status to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Manager‑level experience in PMO functions for capital‑expenditure projects.
- Background in utilities, mining, oil & gas, infrastructure or other capex‑intensive sectors.
- PMP, PMI or equivalent project management certification.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Project.
- Familiarity with Primavera scheduling software.
