Podiatrist – Al Dhafra Hospitals

About the role

The Podiatrist will deliver safe, evidence‑based podiatry services across outpatient, inpatient and home‑care settings at Al Dhafra Hospitals. The role combines clinical care, minor surgery, and leadership of the podiatry team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive podiatry consultations, including diabetic wound management and biomechanical assessments.
• Perform minor foot surgeries and produce orthotic devices for patients of all ages.
• Supervise junior podiatry staff, senior assistants, technicians and administrative personnel, ensuring compliance with departmental policies.
• Organise daily clinical sessions, manage inventory of supplies and equipment, and report shortages.
• Develop and review service policies, contribute to strategic planning and record departmental statistics.
• Deliver podiatry services to local community clinics and participate in home‑care visits.

Required profile

• Qualified podiatrist with relevant licensure to practice in the UAE.
• Experience in managing a multidisciplinary podiatry team.
• Ability to plan and execute clinical sessions across multiple care settings.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence‑based practice.
