Policy and Regulatory Affairs Lead GCC

About the role

Remitly is seeking a Policy and Regulatory Affairs Lead for the GCC region. Reporting to the PRA Head of EMEA, you will represent the company before policymakers and government stakeholders, shaping strategies that support Remitly’s cross‑border payments business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement public policy and government affairs strategies that advance Remitly’s interests in the GCC.
• Engage with regulators, policymakers and industry associations to promote a fintech‑friendly regulatory environment.
• Assess regulatory risks and opportunities, propose mitigation strategies, and advise internal teams.
• Facilitate meetings between Remitly executives and key government officials.
• Provide ad‑hoc policy support to the broader EMEA region as business needs arise.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of cross‑border payments regulations and financial services policy.
• Proven experience engaging with government stakeholders and policymakers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and influence senior leaders.
