About the role
Slow Clay House is seeking a female Pottery Studio Assistant / Instructor to join its studio in Al Bahia, Abu Dhabi. The role involves supporting daily studio operations, preparing materials, and leading pottery workshops for both adults and children.
Key responsibilities
- Glazing and finishing ceramic pieces
- Repairing pottery pieces
- Preparing, weighing and dividing clay
- Clay reclaiming and recycling
- Hand‑building techniques
- Cleaning and maintaining the pottery wheel and studio
- Preparing materials for workshops
- Assisting and leading pottery workshops for adults and children
- Keeping the studio organized and ready for customers
- Creating new ideas for pottery pieces and workshops
Required profile
- Previous pottery or ceramics studio experience
- Comfortable working independently and dealing with customers
Required skills
