PPM Process Senior Specialist – Digital Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a PPM Process Senior Specialist to join the Digital Transformation team at EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi. The role will define, standardise and enable enterprise‑wide project portfolio management processes across a complex, engineering‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design integrated project and portfolio management processes covering the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to program execution, change control and closure.
• Ensure process alignment with industry standards such as PMI PMBOK, ISO 21500 and EIA‑748 EVMS, and with aerospace/defence regulatory frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into functional design specifications, workflows and system configuration guidelines.
• Define system usage guidelines, templates and data structures for SAP EPPM, SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Project Server.
• Advise PMOs, program managers and controllers on best use of PPM tools for scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, risk and performance tracking.
• Conduct hands‑on sessions, demos and onboarding workshops to drive effective adoption of the enterprise tools.
• Support onboarding of new EDGE entities and facilitate adoption of standardised digital processes.

Required profile

• Minimum five years (60 months) of experience in project portfolio management, ERP or related enterprise solutions.
• Proven experience in a complex, engineering‑focused environment, preferably within aerospace or defence.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work with senior stakeholders to shape best‑practice processes.
