About the role
The PR & Communications Manager will lead the public relations and communications strategy for Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai, working within the Marketing team to shape the hotel’s brand narrative and media presence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated PR and communications strategy aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders; manage media inquiries, press trips, interviews and PR shoots.
- Lead community outreach, CSR initiatives and represent the hotel at industry events and social functions.
- Create and manage high‑quality PR content including press releases, press kits, bios and invitations.
- Oversee agency management and ensure consistency of tone of voice and brand image across all external communications.
- Plan and execute the hotel’s event strategy and activations.
Required profile
- Based in Dubai, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
- Experience in public relations, media relations and communications within the hospitality sector.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting abilities.
