PR Specialist – Media Relations & Executive Communications

About the role

Gensler Middle East is looking for a proactive PR Specialist to lead media relations, thought‑leadership and executive communications across its three regional offices. The role will shape the firm’s brand narrative in the design and real‑estate sectors while supporting senior leaders and clients with strategic communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategy and integrated campaigns for Gensler’s offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Riyadh.
• Secure proactive media coverage and manage inbound press inquiries across design, real‑estate, business and innovation outlets.
• Create thought‑leadership assets such as speaking‑engagement materials, brand publications, website copy and award submissions, and oversee their distribution.
• Craft executive communications and positioning for office and practice‑area leaders.
• Act as a strategic communications partner to clients, aligning content with their objectives and Gensler’s brand.
• Monitor news cycles, advise on PR risk and provide coverage outside regular hours when required.
• Collaborate with the firm‑wide PR network to develop regional messaging, digital and social media initiatives.
• Track PR and engagement metrics to refine future strategies.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of professional PR experience, preferably within architecture, design or commercial real‑estate.
• Established editorial relationships with design, business and innovation media in the Middle East.
• Strong written and editing abilities with a track record of independent project management.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and work closely with senior leadership.
