Pre-Sales Technical Team Lead – Industrial Solutions

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Technical Lead reports directly to the Director of Pre‑Sales and is responsible for driving strategic pre‑sales engagement across the full asset lifecycle of industrial facilities. The role focuses on enhancing customers' digital maturity by aligning their processes with Octave Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales team to define tailored account strategies that meet customer outcomes.
• Conduct in‑depth evaluations of customer workflows, technical environments, and business practices.
• Develop actionable recommendations leveraging Octave Solutions to support digital transformation.
• Translate customer challenges into solution roadmaps, working closely with Solution, Industry, and Product consultants.
• Lead pre‑sales engagements including workshops, discovery sessions, solution positioning, value articulation, and proposal development.
• Provide structured feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap.
• Support the creation of business and functional requirements for RFIs/RFPs.
• Act as a trusted advisor guiding clients through their digital transformation journeys.

Required profile

• Engineering, Business or equivalent degree.
• Approximately 15 years of experience in pre‑sales, consulting or technical leadership within industrial facilities.
• Proven success in business development and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of industrial workflows across engineering, construction and operations phases.
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including C‑level executives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
• Comfortable working in a matrixed, multinational environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% across the EMIA region.
