Pre‑Sales Engineer – Technical Solutions & Account Strategy

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will partner closely with the sales team to shape technical solutions, drive account penetration strategies and support the full sales lifecycle. This role combines deep product knowledge with customer‑facing expertise to deliver high‑impact demonstrations, proposals and proof‑of‑concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for design and implementation of company products and services.
• Collaborate with sales to develop account penetration plans and achieve set targets.
• Qualify opportunities, prepare solution proposals, high‑level designs and product demonstrations.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept (POC) and request‑for‑proposal (RFP) processes, driving them to closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, customers and channel partners.
• Manage technical sales calls, adoption, integration and value generation for customers.
• Prepare accurate pre‑sales documentation and BOMs quickly.
• Utilise Salesforce.com CRM for lead, opportunity and deal registration management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with PCs, laptops, printers, workstations and related client‑computing products.
• Strong pre‑sales background in solution design, customer presentations, RFPs/RFQs, tenders and product demos.
• Experience with OEMs such as HP Inc., Lenovo, Dell, Acer or ASUS preferred.
• Ability to work in a commercial, sales‑oriented environment and meet revenue targets.
• Open to candidates based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi; candidates outside the UAE may also be considered.
