Primary Class Teacher

About the role

The Reach British School Abu Dhabi is seeking enthusiastic Primary Class Teachers to join its Early Years and Primary departments. Reporting to the Head of FS/Head of Primary, you will share responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing curriculum across assigned subjects, fostering high standards of literacy, articulacy and academic achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement lesson plans that challenge pupils and maintain high levels of interest.
• Set clear learning targets, build on prior progress and monitor attainment.
• Identify and support SEN/EAL learners.
• Maintain structured, paced lessons using varied teaching methods and effective questioning.
• Utilise assessment data to ensure comprehensive coverage of the programme of study.
• Provide high‑quality homework, mark work promptly and display student achievements.
• Deploy classroom support efficiently and encourage independent, self‑controlled learning.
• Uphold school policies, discipline, dress code and cultural sensitivities.
