Primary ELL/Inclusion Teacher - Immediate Start

About the role

GEMS Education is seeking a Primary ELL/Inclusion Teacher to join a leading international school in Dubai. The role starts immediately (or by January 2027) and focuses on supporting primary‑age students who need extra help with English language acquisition and/or additional learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide targeted individual, small‑group and in‑class interventions for English language learners and students with learning needs.
• Assess language and learning requirements and design appropriate support plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate instruction and ensure curriculum access.
• Develop and implement personalised learning strategies and monitor student progress.
• Support the development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills across subjects.
• Advise teachers on strategies for multilingual and special‑needs learners.
• Build positive relationships with students to foster confidence and independence.

Required profile

• Adaptable and nurturing practitioner with a strong understanding of language development and inclusive education.
• Experience working with young, diverse learners in an international school setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, inclusion specialists and ELL colleagues.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
