Primary Islamic Studies Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Islamic Studies Teacher to join GEMS Our Own English High School in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver Islamic Studies lessons to primary‑level students, create an engaging and inspiring classroom environment, and benefit from the opportunity to work in a world‑class school with prospects for career development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the Islamic Studies curriculum for primary classes.
• Provide outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
• Create an engaging and inspiring learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with department colleagues and across school phases.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies (or equivalent) plus a Bachelor of Education.
• Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum.
• UAE teaching experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Must hold a family visa.
• Strong teamwork orientation and a desire to provide outstanding teaching.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach inside and outside the classroom.

Required skills

• Proficiency with information technology tools.
