Primary Teacher – Academic Year 2026/27

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join Yasmina British Academy for the academic year 2026/27. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum to a diverse group of pupils and contribute to the school’s high standards of achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies and practices aligned with the school’s vision.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate short‑, medium‑ and long‑term departmental goals.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create targeted support plans.
• Design and maintain schemes of work for all year groups, including provisions for SEN/POD, G&T and EAL learners.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for all students.
• Set expectations for staff regarding achievement standards, teaching quality and behaviour.
• Evaluate teaching and learning, identify best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS programme and after‑school booster/revision sessions.
• Manage departmental performance and allocate staff and resources efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching the English National Curriculum at primary level.
• Demonstrated ability to raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Leadership experience at various levels and strong teamwork skills.
• Commitment to the school’s core values and an appreciation of regional cultural values.
• Excellent communication with pupils, parents and school leadership.
