About the role

The Aquila School is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join our community and deliver "amazing learning" experiences. You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where every pupil can make exceptional progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess creative, engaging lessons that meet the curriculum and individual pupil needs.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies.
• Lead and participate in CAS activities, staff training, and community‑building initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and the wider school community.
• Contribute to school marketing, newsletters, and other outreach efforts to promote enrolment.
• Participate in performance management for self and peers, and support continuous improvement across the school.

Required profile

• Demonstrated credibility as a teacher with a range of teaching experience.
• Ability to lead engaging lessons that enable every child to progress.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships within the school community.
• Initiative, flexibility, positivity, and a proactive attitude.
