Primary Teacher

About the role

Smart Vision School is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to deliver high‑quality, engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum. The role supports the academic, social and emotional development of learners while aligning with UK Teachers' Standards, the KHDA framework and UAE Ministry of Education requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all primary subjects in line with school schemes of work and UAE MoE curriculum standards.
• Adapt teaching approaches for Students of Determination, ELL learners and children with diverse abilities.
• Employ a variety of strategies, including ICT tools and creative methods, to enhance learning.
• Assess and track student progress, provide constructive feedback and produce accurate reports on academic, social and emotional development.
• Establish clear behaviour expectations, promote respect and inclusion, and safeguard students from abuse or bullying.
• Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans that embed UAE heritage, culture and values.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high‑quality provision and contribute to enrichment activities.
• Engage in continuous professional development, participate in school meetings and support after‑school events.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching in a primary setting.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners and promote inclusive practice.

Required skills

• Use of ICT tools to enhance classroom learning.
