Principal Business Development

About the role

L3Harris is seeking a senior Business Development professional to lead growth initiatives for its Spectrum Superiority (S2) portfolio across the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. The role focuses on expanding broadband communication systems, including Common Datalink and Link 16, for border, maritime, C4ISR and CJADC2 solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, plan and execute campaign strategies to capture opportunities in the assigned regions.
• Continuously scan market trends, customer needs, budgets and competitive dynamics to shape short‑ and long‑term business plans.
• Develop and align regional objectives with corporate goals and advise senior management on sales programs.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to prospect, develop and secure near‑ and long‑term growth opportunities.
• Lead capture teams on key pursuits and support go‑to‑market activities, including consultant appointments and teaming agreements.
• Ensure adherence to the Common Capture Management Process and coordinate trade‑show and demonstration activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in designing and pursuing tactical and strategic ISR and Link 16 opportunities.
• Proven track record in business development for defense‑technology solutions in the Middle East, Central Asia (including India) and Africa.
• Strong understanding of broadband communication systems, Common Datalink, Tactical Datalink, border & maritime security, C4ISR and CJADC2.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior leadership.
