Principal DevOps Engineer

About the role

Landmark Group’s Logistiq startup is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead its cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE and DevSecOps initiatives. This senior, hands‑on role will design and operate highly scalable, secure and automated platforms that accelerate software delivery for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and operation of large‑scale, mission‑critical production platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other clouds.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks.
• Drive best practices in Kubernetes, Docker, micro‑services and container orchestration.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, performance and cost‑effectiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, security and product teams to enable rapid, reliable releases.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud or Platform Engineering.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Deep hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform; experience with AWS and Azure is a plus.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation or similar tools.
• Design and operation of enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Expert‑level Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, CDN, security and distributed systems.
