Principal Solution Architect – Customer Applications

About the role

Emirates is looking for a Principal Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of next‑generation customer‑facing applications, including CRM, loyalty, marketing and AI‑driven solutions. You will shape the digital future of customer engagement across the airline’s global network.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern corporate IT standards, guidelines and practices for customer applications.
• Scout emerging technologies, assess strategic impact and drive proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Lead solution architecture for new projects, vendor acquisitions and enhancements of existing systems.
• Ensure architectural quality, integration design and alignment with agile development practices.
• Advise project teams on technical standards, manage exceptions and mitigate technical debt.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in solution architecture within large international airlines or aviation service providers.
• Strong understanding of airline‑specific systems and the customer journey.
• Proven ability to influence strategic technology decisions at enterprise level.

Required skills

• Architecture governance and standards development.
• Integration architecture and agile architecture practices.
• Proof‑of‑concept execution and technology scouting.
