Principal Test Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Test Engineer to join the Product Prototyping team within the Space & Cyber Technologies cluster. The role focuses on translating system‑level requirements into measurable test cases and executing end‑to‑end lab and field testing for RF and SDR systems.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret system‑level requirements and develop detailed test cases.
• Collaborate with system architects, waveform designers, and hardware/software teams to define verification procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive lab and field testing of RF and SDR components, generating status and test reports.
• Evaluate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and characterize RF/SDR component behavior.
• Design and build required hardware/software lab resources based on project needs.

Required profile

• B.Eng or M.Sc. in Electronic or Systems Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in test and measurement, especially with RF radio systems.
• Proven experience in lab planning, budgeting, and SW/HW integration.
• Hands‑on expertise in test case automation.
