Process Engineer – 6‑Month Contract (Temporary)

About the role

The Process Engineer will use process design software to develop and optimise simulations for assigned projects and proposals, preparing design basis, equipment lists, data sheets and supporting drafting deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise process simulations using tools such as Hysys, Flarenet, Promax, Protreat and HTRI.
• Prepare process design basis, equipment specifications, data sheets and inputs for PFDs, P&IDs and plot plans.
• Perform equipment sizing calculations, hydraulic and heat duty assessments, and generate operating and control philosophy documents.
• Support vendor inquiry preparation, bid analysis, selection and provide technical input for proposals.
• Participate in HAZIP, HAZOP, SIL and other safety reviews and assist in field problem resolution.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with gas and liquids production equipment such as separators, dehydration, sweetening, glycol regeneration and cryogenic plants.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards and the Microsoft Office suite.
