Process Engineer – FEED Projects (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Wood Group is seeking a Process Engineer to join its Dubai team and support FEED studies for oil and gas production facilities. Reporting to the Senior Process Engineer, you will own assigned process engineering scopes and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process engineering work packages within FEED projects for oil & gas field development.
• Plan, budget, organise and control process deliverables to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Prepare and review process documentation ensuring compliance with engineering codes, standards and client policies.
• Provide technical guidance on process queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with client engineering, operations and maintenance teams to align project execution.
• Support construction, commissioning and operational phases, including on‑site information collection.
• Identify progress or quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 6 years in an engineering design environment.
• Experience with multi‑national, multi‑cultural project teams; Middle‑East experience preferred.
• Professional institute membership is a plus.

Required skills

• LPG fractionation design and operation, including de‑ethaniser.
• LPG feed dehydration processes.
• Process engineering design and analysis.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO).
• Sour service operations and hydrate mitigation experience.
